Should I Buy a House in Aiken Now or Wait?

3. The Savannah River Site's workforce is growing. SRS has announced potential workforce increases of up to one-third over coming years as the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility project advances. More SRS employees means more housing demand in Aiken. Buying ahead of that growth curve has historically been rewarding.

4. Aiken's equestrian season creates natural pricing cycles. If you're in the market for a Horse District property, buying during the off-season summer months, when fewer northern buyers are present and competition is reduced, often yields better pricing and more negotiating leverage.
